About the B2C Solution Architect Certification
If you are a Solution Architect working in the Salesforce space, then hopefully it will not be news to you that Salesforce launched a new certification in Dec ’20, the B2C Solution Architect. This is designed to recognise the skill of those who are responsible for designing and implementing B2C multi-cloud solutions using Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Commerce Cloud.
Once I’ve explained a little about the event, and that our dance partners are other people from the Salesforce ecosystem, everyone is super keen to find out who is taking part. You’re right, you may well know more than one of this rabble.
To find out more about the event, check out this post.
I can tell you, just like me, everyone taking part really needs your support. This is the first Partner Strictly. As with the first of everything, we put ourselves forward with no real idea what we were getting into. Yes, we were given info, but speaking…
You are not mistaken, you did read that correctly, this is a Strictly Come Dancing inspired event but with contestants from the Salesforce Partner ecosystem. 24 Trailblazers, many of which you may know, are putting on dance shoes, squeezing into something shiny and donning fake tan, all to raise money to change the lives of young people who have been dealt a bad hand.
This event has all the main ingredients of the spectacular Strictly show that adds sparkle to our Saturday: a live audience (you), instruction from professional dances, industry respected judges, a winning couple, even opening showreels!! …
A week from now I’ll be in San Francisco for my 3rd Dreamforce, it is fair to say that I can’t wait. It’s the annual pilgrimage to where it all began, to hear from the people that started it all. If you have never been, prepare for an event like no other. The bus stops are branded, Trailblazer’s faces are on buildings, at least one road gets closed and there will be swarms of people all with lanyards and branded backpacks. Prepare to spend at week mainly eating standing up.
This was my biggest takeaway from last year. There are…
Surf Force is a community conference which encourages people to connect through the shared experience of Surfing. This may seem like an odd idea but we want to intentionally challenge perceptions and show that with the right support, people can do more than they thought was possible. Surfing is also a great way to show that people can learn more if they are having fun. If it works for Tony Robbins…. why not for us.
Salesforce has an active and committed community of professionals running and attending evening user groups. These are knowledge sharing events and a fun way to…
This Thursday is London World Tour at the ExCel. If you have not been to a Salesforce World Tour before, it is where existing customers and potential customers come together to share experiences and get insight into what’s to come. This year we can expect a full house at this Sold Out immersive Salesforce Experience.
You can expect:
The Marketing Cloud user group has been steadily growing on the Success Community, now at around 100 members. It seemed about time that we took the leap of faith and ran our first person event on 30th March 2017. In return we welcomed the best part of 50 people through the doors at the Salesforce Tower, thanks in no small part to all the help from highly active and connected members of the community.
The topics of our first meeting included Social Studio & Email Studio. …
I wanted to share my top pick of things to see and do at London’s Calling 2017. However, as I looked through the agenda I realised that picking 5 or even a top 10 would be impossible. There isn’t a session on the agenda that I don’t want to see. The quality and variety of the sessions is the reason I love being an organiser of this event.
After a few hard choices, I decided to highlight some of the top themes of the day.
In case you are still haven’t hear about London’s Calling it is the largest Community…
London’s Calling is about bringing the community of Salesforce Professionals together, so as organisers we wanted to make sure we met the needs of our audience. The first event was a great success and we had great verbal feedback, but it is always best to back that up with more data.
So at the end of last year’s event we put out a survey to find out what you thought in more detail. We were amazed at the high response rate to the survey, although that may have been due to the chance to win tickets for London’s Calling 2017.
It’s the time of year where I pause and reflect on the last 12 months, thinking about what was special to me, what I am proud of and what are my hopes for next year.
It has been a year of high expectations and unexpected challenges, both in my career and personal life. It is also I year that I officially became a Trailblazer. What follows are the most important Salesforce highlights of the year to me.
Being an organiser for London’s Calling was an early highlight of the year.
